A stylish and cosy restaurant in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, The Old Cock Inn’s menu is seasonal and freshly made daily in their open kitchen.
Challenge
Working alongside this experienced operator, the Advance brief was to design a kitchen that could deliver consistency in product quality at peak demand, whilst keeping waiting times down. This had to be coupled with the need that the kitchen had to be easily maintained, cleaned, and specified, to provide minimum downtime of equipment throughout the day.
Solution
Recently renovated under operator Charles Wells, Advance supported the design and supply of the kitchen and bar equipment in this well loved 16th Century pub. Advance led with a linear Angelo Po suited cookline, and open pass for operational efficiency. The Advance extraction system and coldroom was carefully and intricately designed to accommodate the challenges of this old building.
