The Listing, Drake and Morgan, is a new London City stylish and popular upmarket Bar and Restaurant Group. Set in a new and prestigious office building, The Listing is a striking glazed, double-height podium with a large terrace for outdoor dining. Whether you’re enjoying an early morning power breakfast after a session at the gym, wrapping up the business of the day by sipping and supping cocktails, or indulging in an intimate dinner for two, this is a destination for everyone to enjoy all day long and well into the night.
Challenge
The Listing has a unique circular design to the building, and it was this that created the biggest challenge for Advance on this project. The design and installation teams had to come up with a solution that followed the contours of the building, in order to create an open working kitchen and bar counter space.
Solution
By utilising all of the working space in the building, a unique kitchen and bar installation was created. The design team had to create a solution for the kitchen and bars that ensured that they fitted into a very tricky space. The resulting installation has ensured that the kitchen can deliver at a high service level for the normal full menu, whilst still having a heavy design emphasis on the wet sales. In addition, all aspects of the kitchen and bars have been designed to be easily maintained, cleaned, whilst ensuring that the high quality equipment ensures minimum downtime.
The detail was key on this project. To overcome the space challenges that the installation provided, a curved fabrication under the front counters was precision made to ensure both the finish and operation demands were met to the highest level.
